Using Your Very Own Blog Network To Promote Products

Recently I am trying to use blogs to promote my business websites, most of the blogs I am working on are wordpress based, its well known that wordpress is wonderful for automated posting, managing and much more, with the fact that its licensed under GPL make the WordPress the most popular weblog platform on the Internet.

Then I found out that I probably should build blogs myself, afterwards I can use the already built blogs to promote whatever I want, of course this is not a new idea, all kinds of blog networks are out there for the exact purpose, the thing is that I don’t control those blogs, not to mention I can’t just post to them, probably I will have to pay quite dearly to have my sites promoted.

Its a tedious job to maintain more than a few blogs, if you want values for your blogs, to put real content on your site won’t be an easy job, remember real value is always difficult to achieve. I’ve seen quite a few real world examples, look at this one, Dog Stuff, it has a nice name, the content on the site is not bad, though its not a theme focused blog, you’ll find all kinds of different posts there. Here is another one, Pick Up Cargo Net, this is a themed blog, all posts are following the same theme, quite a few keywords rank well for this site. I can show you a lot more sites, but you should already see the point. Here is one last note, you should build some casual blogs, put some random content on those blogs occasionally, take one blog as example, Dog House, doing this right you will have a natural blogging networks.

When you already have a few interesting blogs, you can try to build a few more, use the old ones to promote the new ones, this way you get your little blog network rolling. Of course its just the beginning, to build a successful network will be much more complicated, do remember don’t do any spamming tricks for your sites, if you get black listed there is no come back.
